It all began in 1988, when Mr Günter J. Lißner decided to use the experience that he had acquired in national and international planning activities for a corporation in the food industry for his own company and set up his own business. The company thus developed into a specialist and consultant for the food industry, focusing on the processing of meat.
Customers soon came to value the skills of the team of engineers that Günter Lißner had put together, the planning methodology and the creative ideas and the circle of regular customers expanded. The company's business development was given a further boost in the mid-90s by the first contracts from abroad.
Satisfying customers in every way has always been the overriding goal, and this conviction resulted in a service offering that provided everything from one source. In mid-2009, the company had 15 employees and was very successful on the domestic market, in projects in other EU states as well as in Eastern Europe, Russia, Asia and Canada.
In what was a sudden and unexpected shock for his customers, Mr Lißner passed away in June 2009.
As Mr G. Lißner would have wanted, indeed, as was his greatest wish, the company is being continued. The company management has been taken over by Mr Olaf Sauerbier, who had accompanied Mr Lißner right from the start as the head of the Production Technology and Logistics department, and Mr Uwe Mayer, the head of the Construction department and also a long-standing employee of the company.
As a planner and consultant, the engineering firm remains the point of contact for its customers in all matters. Lißner engineers + architects continues to successfully plan, realise and support projects at home and abroad and is looking to the future with optimism.
